        The Department of Agricultural Engineering, established in 2024 under the affiliation of APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University. Established to meet the growing demands of the agricultural sector, this program integrates scientific principles with practical applications in crop production, soil science, agribusiness, and sustainable agriculture practices. Through a comprehensive curriculum, students gain expertise in areas such as agronomy, horticulture, plant breeding and genetics, agricultural economics, and agricultural extension services. Our experienced faculty, comprising industry professionals and researchers, is dedicated to providing students with cutting-edge knowledge and hands-on experience essential for success in the field. With access to modern laboratories, field stations, and farm facilities, students have ample opportunities for experiential learning, research projects, and internships with industry partners. Graduates of our program emerge as skilled agricultural professionals equipped to address the challenges of food security, environmental sustainability, and rural development.

     Anyone who studied Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in Plus Two and scored minimum 45 percentage of marks.No prior background in any agriculturalcourse is not required.

     The Job Titles for Agriculture Engineer include:

Agriculture Research Engineer, Biosystems Engineer, Conservation Engineer, Agriculture Crop Engineer, Farm Equipment Engineer and much more.
