The Institution of Engineers (India) (IEI)

The Institution of Engineers (India) (IEI) is an organization of engineers in India was established in 1920 in Kolkata, West Bengal and was incorporated by Royal Charter in 1935. It has more than one million members in 15 engineering disciplines in 120 centres or chapters in India and overseas; making it the world's largest multi-disciplinary engineering professional society in the engineering and technology world. Ilahia College has its registered student chapters for various disciplines and currently, more than 500 students are members of IE(I).
