“Modern Web Application Development with MEAN stack”- FDP

Database Design and Programming with SQL (Supported Self Study Module)
FDP module has been upgraded to Supported Self Study (SSS) and the training will be for 18 weeks for this course in which you will enrol. In SSS, the training will be set up in Member Hub and the trainer from Oracle will take 2 Live sessions – orientation sessions on the first day of training (90 minutes) and Final session on the Last date of training (90 Minutes), Participation is compulsory for these 2 Live sessions . Apart from these sessions faculty has to complete the course on their own in 9 weeks or less. In case, you need support from the trainer in between 18 weeks, then you can write a mail or contact the trainer directly, and accordingly, a separate zoom call will be set up by the trainer for resolving those queries.
Who is eligible to apply?
This FDP is open for computer science / Circuit branch faculties having basic programming skills. (Only from our Member colleges)
Faculties willing to learn and transform the skills to their students.
Fee and certificate of participation
It is absolutely free for all ICTAK member college faculties and no course fee will be collected from participants.
Certificate of participation will be given by Oracle Academy to those who will be completing the training Successfully.

Tanzu Build-a-Thon
ICET partner organization VMWare organized first of its kind coding competition on Modern Apps - " Tanzu Build-a-Thon",Which was beneficial for the participating to gain the knowledge on modern app development.
What is Tanzu Build-a-Thon
Build-a-thon is a unique competition for students where they can learn modern application development by attending boot camp and building an app with the help of a mentor.
The Build a Thon is comprised of three different parts:
Concept Building— Students will learn the basics of modern apps design using spring boot or python flask
Developing an App- Students will work individually or on a team to create an app on the Tanzu Application Service. Mentors will be available to help them through the process
Pitching their App-students will have to “pitch” the app they have built using Spring boot or python and deploy it on Tanzu

VMware Tanzu enables the developers to build, run and manage Modern Apps. This program is stacked with e-learning, technical boot camps on modern app development, mentoring by experts.
Virtual Workshop on Digital Teaching Techniques
Based on the research and feedback from educators and students, ICT Academy of Kerala developed a 5 Day Virtual Workshop on Digital Teaching Techniques for the educators to support them to modifying the teaching methods using available free open-source tools.
It also helps the institution to overcome the limitations of online classes and digital learning.
Program Structure
Duration of the Program was 5 Days – 2 Hours of Live Learning. (Timing: 5.00 pm to 7.00 pm on 16th, 18th, 19th, 21st and 23rd June 2021)
Online training videos was accessible through ICT Academy of Kerala’s Learning Management System - Paatshala
All recorded sessions was made available for all participants for 1 month.
e-Certificate to all participants was issued on successful completion of the program.
Aspiring Entrepreneurs Program -2021
“Aspiring Entrepreneurs Program -2021” Initiative of ICT Academy in association with HDFC Bank.
The program was offered in 3 stages to young aspiring entrepreneurs in the age group of 20 to 25 which equipped them with Competence, Confidence and Connections to build a strong foundation for their entrepreneurial journey.
The Stage 1 was an Entrepreneurship Awareness Campaign conducted for 20 Hours in which 4 Hours was done by Expert through Virtual Instructor lead training and 16 hours was given as self-learning to all aspiring entrepreneurs. Stage 2 is Entrepreneurship training and Stage 3 is Mentoring & Facilitation which was a continuous process.
Stage1- Entrepreneurship Awareness Campaign for Ernakulam Cluster – Expert Live Online session was scheduled on 31.07.2021(Saturday) from 09.30 AM to 01.30 PM. The session was delivered through an online Conferencing Tool.
Oracle Academy Faculty Day
ICET partner Oracle Academy has come up with a virtual event on 10th Aug 2021 at 11:00 AM IST to celebrate Oracle Academy Faculty Day. Oracle Academy Institutional members presented how they are using free resources and aligning them with their existing curriculum. They also shared how these resources have impacted their teaching and their students’ learning.
Oracle Academy Institutional members used Oracle Academy resources for the benefit of their students.The event was open for faculty/management of all the ICTAK member institutes.Certificate was provided to attendees of the event who attended at least 75% of the total duration of the live event (by Oracle Academy).
Timing for Event: 11 AM IST to 1 PM IST
Any number of interested faculty members were permitted to join from an institution.

A webinar on the topic “FULL STACK DEVELOPER” was presented by Mrs.Nitha Anilkumar, Knowledge Officer ICT ACADEMY .Mrs. Nisha Shamsudin from MCA department, Ilahia College of engineering and technology was the chief co-coordinator of the program. The webinar was on 18.09.2020 from 11:00AM to 12:00PM. Welcome address has been done by asst. Prof. Nisha Shamsudin. Total attendee for the program was about 127 from MCA, and all branches of B.Tech. The session was interactive in nature and was very fruitful. The program run as per the schedule and finished on time.
