GRADUATION MAIN PROJECT MANAGEMENT WITH ICET SOFTWARE DIVISION

 

Department of MCA facilitates training programs on software Development and Academic project consultation for the under graduates students in various platforms. The projects are supervised and executed by expert faculty members. The software division working under the MCA department of ICET started functioning since 2015 by handling the main project of MCA final year students. The software division is provisionally named “isoft”. The main focus of isoft is to undertake BCA/BSc. Computer Science final year students of nearby colleges. From 2016 onwards, almost 75 students have completed project with us. Students from colleges like Mount Carmel College, KMP College, Al-Azhar College have joined us.

Since 2015, isoft trained learners on different technologies including soft skills and hard skills. Most of the projects were developed in .Net framework with C#,Android, Aurduno with the back end technologies like SQL Server or Oracle. The yearly intake to isoft is 30 for external graduate students and unlimited for ICET MCA students. The project covers an industrial visit, soft skills training and exposure to all expert talks happening in ICET. The mission of soft is to bridge the gap between the academic and industry. isoft literally serves as an IT finishing school for the learners. Every year isoft chooses the best programmer from the project group and the learner will be appreciated with rewards and certificates. Besides, all learners will be given the experience certificates.

Isoft handles management projects and embedded projects in Aurduno and the learners have the liberty to select from more than 1000 project topics from our repository.The strategy we follow is to make the learner do the projects completely by themselves with our continual support rather than just a ‘pay-and -collect-project’ aspect, so that they will be able to handle and code any project in that technology. We use the ICT to teach our learners.
