ICET central Library provides services, collections and facilities to support the educational goals of students and employees. Our Library promotes student success through the development of critical thinking, independent research skills and advances teaching and learning by supporting professional development.
Online access to many licensed research databases, e-journals and e-books are available at our campus. Our central library has study areas, access to computer workstations, library circulation reference services, computer printing and photocopy services.
- Digital Library
Attached to the main central library, there is a digital library, which is fully furnished and air conditioned. This digital library can accommodate 20 members at a time. E –books covering various branches of engineering subjects include in the digital library collection. Apart from this, it holds e-resources like J-Gate, DELNET,NPTEL, NDL etc.. and online journals of almost all the technical journals which we holds. Here, users can come and refer e –resources during working days. Also, this digital library holds CDs, DVDs, tutorials etc. which can be referred at any time conveniently. It is supported by Wi-Fi with 64 Mbps leased line.

Library Usage Guidelines
- Strict silence should be observed in the library.
- Only students with ID card are allowed to enter the library.
- Students without uniform are not allowed to enter the library except on Wednesdays.
- Books and other materials should not be brought to the library.
- The library staff members are always ready to help the students. Students may request them for any information/materials they needed.
- Own Books, journals should be handled with care, the users will be responsible for any damage/disfigurations caused and pay the fine.
- Students can borrow 3 books at a time using ID cards.
- Library users are not permitted to use others ID cards while charging or discharging their books.
- Ensure the conditions of the book, before you get the same or the book issued.
- Do not write, mark/underline or sign on the library books.
- The borrowed book should be returned on the date marked on the label of the book/card. Absence from the college will not be an excuse.More than one renewal is not allowed.
- A fine of Rs.1/- will be charged per book per day from the defaulters.
- Loss of library books should be reported to the librarian immediately. Books lost or damaged will have to be replaced. Reference books, journals, magazines and news papers should not be taken out of the library.
- The library timings and other details will be displayed on the library notice board from time to time.
The central library of ICET is in the administrative block and it is very near to the main entrance of the college. It is a well established library and its collections are fully automated with bar-code. Its area comes about 743 sq.m. and reading area can accommodate 190 members at a time. There is also a subordinate library, for the MBA students and its faculty.
It has a huge collection of volumes (around 31000) spreading over various branches of engineering and general subjects. The collections include books, bound volumes of journals, e-books, CDs and DVDs, project reports etc. The library also holds huge collection of reference books to facilitate the learners to prepare for GATE, TOFEL, IELTS, GRE, PSC and other competitive examinations. There are 90 scholarly journals including national and international in engineering and allied subjects apart from e-journals namely J-Gate, DELNET, NPTEL, NDL etc. Similarly 20 periodicals are procured annually to give current awareness to library users.
