The Anti-Ragging Cell works to prevent, prohibit and address incidents of ragging within the campus and promotes a culture of mutual respect, dignity and responsibility.
Objectives of the Anti-Ragging Cell
Prevention
Take effective measures to prevent ragging and create awareness among students about its consequences.
Awareness
Conduct awareness programmes and sensitise students about anti-ragging regulations and responsible behaviour.
Student Support
Provide a safe mechanism through which students can report concerns or incidents related to ragging.
Immediate Action
Investigate reported incidents and take appropriate action in accordance with applicable regulations.
What is Ragging?
Ragging includes any act of physical or psychological abuse, harassment, intimidation, humiliation or disorderly conduct directed towards another student.
Any behaviour that causes physical or mental harm, fear, embarrassment or discomfort to a student is strictly prohibited.

Students are advised not to participate in, encourage or remain silent about ragging incidents.
Activities of the Anti-Ragging Cell
Conducting anti-ragging awareness programmes for students.
Displaying anti-ragging notices and awareness materials.
Organising orientation and sensitisation programmes for freshers.
Monitoring campus activities to prevent incidents of ragging.
Receiving and addressing complaints related to ragging.
Supporting affected students and maintaining appropriate confidentiality.
