Our Administration team is having the key involvement in planning, organizing, directing, controlling, and evaluating college related activities. The effective administration of ICET establish and maintain an organizational climate that encourages the development, retention, and a high level of morale among students and faculty members. The administration facilitators motivate the students to engage in skill enhancement activities along with a systematic academic approach.
Principal

Dr K. A Navas is an eminent academician who started his career as a teacher in the year 1987. He has more than 36 years of teaching and administrational experience in various capacities like Lecturer, Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, Professor, Dean, Head of Department and Principal in engineering colleges including College of Engineering Trivandrum, T K M College of Engineering Kollam, Govt. Engineering College Thrissur, Govt. College of Engineering Kannur, LBS College of Engineering Kasaragod, Anjuman Engineering College Bhatkal and MES College of Engineering Kuttippuram. He had a small stint at Keltron Controls, Aroor.
Dr. K. A. Navas obtained his B Tech, M Tech and PhD in the years 1987, 1995 and 2011 respectively. He has participated in many conferences outside the country and published 40 technical papers in national and international conferences and journals. He is an author of 15 academic books which are being published by the well known publishers namely Prentice Hall of India, New Delhi and Rajath Publishers, Kochi. Many of his e-books are available through most of the prominent online publishers. Some of his books are mandatory text books in some of the foreign universities. Some of the books are included in the syllabus of NITs, large number Indian universities and Deemed-to-be universities. He is also a frequent writer of popular articles in dailies, magazines and periodicals. He has coordinated many technical workshops, faculty development programs and conferences. Out of his total experience in engineering institutions, he has administrational experience as Head of Department and Principal for 25 years.
Dr Navas had been a member of Expert Visit Committees and Standing Appellate Committees of All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi. He was also a member of committees appointed by the State Govt. and Director of Technical Education, Kerala for the inspection of various academic institutions, Faculty of Engineering and Board of Studies of different universities, Board of Development of many institutions, Board of Directors of an industry etc. He is a member many doctoral committees. He has chaired many PhD open defense examinations.
He is a life member of ISTE since 1995. He is a resource person of Mathrubhumi daily for 11 years in the career council programmes for engineering-aspirant students and an academic director of two prominent secondary schools. He has served as a programme officer of National Service Scheme for five years and brought several laurels to the institution. He has delivered large number of invited lectures and motivational speeches in reputed institutions. He had been instrumental in many of the entrepreneurial ventures including Rajath Publishers and PaceLab, Kochi.
He has successfully led his teams for achieving NAAC and NBA accreditations to the institutions he worked. He has fetched large amount of Govt. grants to the institutions during his tenure there.

Prof. (Dr) Abdul Salam V.H is the Director at Ilahia College of Engineering and Technology (ICET), Mulavoor, Muvattupuzha, Ernakulam Dist. since 12-11-2020. He was the Director at MEA College of Engineering, Perinthalmanna for 4 years (2017-21). He worked as Principal, MES College of Engineering, Kuttippuram, the First Self Financing Engineering College in Kerala, for 10 years (2007-2017). He was a Member, Board of Governors, APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University (KTU) (2015-2017). He was a Member Senate, Syndicate and Academic Council, University of Calicut (2013-2017). He was a Member Senate, Cochin University of Science and Technology for two consecutive terms (2011-2019). He was also a Member, Faculty of Architecture in CUSAT (2014-2018). He is an approved Project Guide for UG and PG Courses in Civil Engineering at CUSAT.
Dr. Abdul Salam has 48 years of Professional, Research, Teaching, Academic and Administrative experience in various Governments, Universities, and Self-Financing Technical Institutions. He started his career at Munnar in KSEB as Graduate Trainee in 1972. Later he moved to Thiruvananthapuram and worked four years (1973-1977) as a Valuation Engineer in the Income Tax Department under CPWD, Govt. of India. In 1977 he came to Kochi and worked twenty-six years (1977-2003) in various designations as Asst. Engineer, Asst. Executive Engineer, Executive Engineer, Superintending Engineer (with the powers of Chief Engineer) in Greater Cochin Development Authority (GCDA) During this period one year (1982-1983) he worked as Engineer in Petroleum Development Oman (PDO) in Sultanate of Oman. He worked for three years (2003-2006) as a University Engineer and Head of the Engineering Department, Cochin University of Science and Technology. He worked one year (2006-2007) in Kozhikode as Chief Technical Advisor, Logosphere property Developers, Calicut.
He is well versed in the accreditation process of NBA and NAAC and instrumental to get accreditation in MES College of Engineering, Kuttippuram, and MEA Engineering College, Perinthalmanna. He was awarded Good Service Entry in 1996 in recognition of his hard work and valuable contribution in the successful completion of the 100 crore Cochin Jawaharlal Nehru International Stadium Project in the record time of 515 days. As Principal in MESCE for 10 years, he was able to inspire excellence in faculty, staff, and students.
Prof. Abdul Salam did his Bachelor’s Degree BSc (Engineering) in Civil Engineering at M.A College of Engineering, Kothamangalam (which was then affiliated to Kerala University), in 1972 with First Rank from the University of Kerala, M.Tech in Civil Engineering (Building Technology and Construction Management) and Ph.D. in Civil Engineering (Construction Engineering and Management) from Cochin University of Science and Technology.
Dr. Abdul Salam is a Fellow of the Institution of Engineers (India)-FIE, Life Member of the Indian Society for Technical Education LM-ISTE, Fellow of the Indian Geotechnical Society – FIGS, C.Eng (I), Fellow of the Indian Institution of Bridge Engineers – FIIBE, Life Member of Energy Conservation Society-LM-ECS.
He has a number of research publications to his credit, active as an Advisor and Technical Consultant to various organizations in Kerala. He was a Sub Committee Member of the Kerala Chamber of Commerce and Industry. He was the first Chairman, MES Udyogamandal School, and MES Eastern School, Eloor, Cochin.
He was a Member of the Managing Committee of N. Musthafa Sahib Memorial MES Charitable Complex, Edathala, Ernakulam Dist. He was a Board Member of the Vigyan Valley Education Trust, Cochin. He is a Trustee of the Ernakulam Karayogam Charitable Trust since 1998.
Dr. Abdul Salam is a native of Erattupetta in Kottayam Dist. And settled at Ernakulam (Behind Kaloor Stadium) since 1977 with his family. He has widely traveled in the USA, Europe, Singapore, Middle East, Thailand, Malasia, and the Maldives.

Dr. Faisal M H completed his B.Tech degree in Mechanical Engineering from Cochin University of Science & Technology and secured M.Tech in Production & Industrial Engineering from Mar Athanasius College of Engineering, Kothamangalam. He was conferred and awarded a Ph.D in Composite Materials from Karpagam University.
He worked in industry as a trainee engineer at F.A.C.T Cochin Division in the year 2001 prior to joining academia. In the year of 2002, he joined as Lecturer in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Govt. Polytechnic College, Muttom. Later in the year 2003, he served as a lecturer in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Ilahia College of Engineering & Technology. He got promoted to the Assistant Professorgrade in 2008. In 2016 he held the position of Head of Mechanical Engineering Department and was promoted to the Professor grade in 2020.
Dr. Faisal M H has above 18 years of experience in the teaching field and has guided many undergraduate and postgraduate projects during these years. He has an excellent track record in teaching as well as a research field with numerous ‘Best Faculty’ awards in his achievements. He has published five journals in Scopus Indexed Journals and presented his works in many international Conferences. His area of research interest is composite materials. He has a wide experience in AICTE/University/Government approval and NBA accreditation activities. He is a lifetime member of ISTE.
