  • Receiving NSS UNIVERSITY AWARD 2023-24 for the best Unit and Programme Officer from KTU VC Dr. K. Sivaprasad in the presence of NSS Regional Director (RD Kerala), State NSS Officer(SNO) and State Programme Coordinator.

  • This prestigious award acknowledges the unit’s outstanding contributions in community development, social service, and student empowerment throughout the academic year. Receiving this honour in the presence of distinguished dignitaries serves as a strong motivation to continue promoting the NSS motto “Not Me, But You” and to uphold the values of social responsibility, active citizenship, and holistic student development in the years ahead. The recognition reflects the collective hard work of volunteers, the spirit of service, and the commitment to creating meaningful change in society.It also highlights the dedicated leadership, consistent efforts, and impactful initiatives carried out under the Programme Officer’s guidance.

     

  • Received a token of appreciation for developing the Kochi Water Metro website at the inauguration of the Mattancherry Water Metro Terminal by Hon’ble Chief Minister Sri. Pinarayi Vijayan and Minister Sri. P. Rajeev. Grateful for the recognition and opportunity to contribute to this landmark project.

  • Three years ago, Kochi Metro Rail Limited (KMRL) and Kerala Shipping and Inland Navigation Corporation (KSINC) partnered with Ilahia College of Engineering and Technology, Muvattupuzha, to design, develop, and maintain the official website for the Water Metro Project. The college was awarded a three-year contract to build and manage the platform, ensuring it is user-friendly and accessible to all sections of society, including persons with disabilities.

  • Job Mou has been signed with Genrobotics, Robotics and AI Research Center Technopark, Thiruvananthapuram, a leading company in the field of robotic solutions.

  • Job offer to 16 students by Dr.Ahmed, Production Manager of Precision Industries, a generator manufacturing company based in Dubai, based on the vehicle built by students as part of their final year project.

Mr. Arunkumar M. , Assistant Professor, Department of Computer Science and Engineering is selected as the Ernakulam District Coordinator of NSS. He is also awarded as the NSS Best Programme Officer and the College selected as the best NSS unit during the academic year 2022-23.

Mr.Asjid Kalam, (Computer Science and Engineering Department) won Silver medal in Cybersecurity and Mr.Ajmal Aboobacker, (Computer Science and Engineering Department) won Bronze medal in Cybersecurity at the IndiaSkills, National Skills competition under WorldSkills.

Mr.Sangeeth Mathew John (Electrical and Electronics Engineering Department) and Mr.Muhammed Shehansha (Computer Science and Engineering Department) student got selected for the internship programme at University of Dubai.
