NPTEL: NATIONAL PROGRAMME ON TECHNOLOGY ENHANCED LEARNING
A Project funded by MHRD, Govt. of India
National Programme on Technology Enhanced Learning (NPTEL) is a joint venture of seven IIT’s and IISc, being funded by Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India to offer free online courses for faculties and students on various topics. Currently NPTEL offers 269 online certification courses for students and 141 AICTE-FDP courses for faculty members.
ICET acts a registered SWAYAM- NPTEL Local Chapter under SPOC of Asst. Prof. Mrs. Angel Mathew, Asst. Professor, Electonics & Communication Engineering from February 2021. ICET encourages students and faculty members to undergo these online MOOC courses as per their individual choice. Also this facilitates students to take up Internships through NPTEL Industry Associates.
